PhD. Eng. Rubén Rodari

Rubén Rodari was born in San Juan, Argentina, on December 1st, 1976. He graduated with honours as a Civil Engineer from the National University of San Juan in 2001. The National Academy of Engineering granted him the distinction of the best engineering graduates of argentine universities in 2002. 

A few years later, he graduated first, as Magister in Earthquake Resistant Structures Engineering and then, as PhD in Civil Engineering both postgraduate degrees granted by the National University of San Juan.

He began working at IDIA in 2002, performing teaching, research and transfer activities for different mining, hydroelectric companies and public institutions. Since October 2011, he has been member of its Advisory Council.

He is Professor in Finite Elements Method and Structure Analysis Workshop chairs at the Faculty of Engineer, National University of San Juan. His background is related to studies of fluid-structure interaction, soil-structure interaction, structural dynamics, mathematical modelling, material point method and laboratory tests.
