Gabriel Zabala was born in San Juan, Argentina, on April 6th, 1989. He graduated as a Civil Engineer from the National University of San Juan (UNSJ) in 2014. As student, he worked as Professor’s Assistant in the Stability I. He was awarded an ARFITEC scholarship to spend a semester at the Polytech Marseille University, in Marseille, France.
He started working at the Earthquake Research Institute (IDIA) in 2014 carrying out teaching, research and transfer activities. His works are mainly related to Structural Engineering, Dam Safety and Geotechnical Engineering.
At present, he develops activities in the following programs: Seismic Safety Analysis of Special Structures and Seismic Protection Systems at the Faculty of Engineering, UNSJ.
